061: MINIMUM BLUDGING

I've had no time to bludge today, so I'm taking time out to write this blog.
Uusually I have at least thirty to forty minutes in a day in which I'm not expected to do anything, or be anywhere. Not so today.
Its a busy time at work and the bosses have left me in charge for the night shift.
Which means most of my time is spent answering questions, rendering assistance and frantically attending to important office-type things.
Dont get me wrong, I relish the opportunity to be given a chance to use my brain at work.
Neurons and synapses have been blazing for the last few hours. I've just been this human blur (appropriately outfitted in a Space Invaders t-shirt - probably my new favourite).
So here I am with the last few minutes of work, trickling away. The prospect of not being here until tomorrow is like a warm fireplace of content that I seem to go to every day.
But I like my job.
Seemingly a lot more than most people I encounter. Most people are one step away from a bathtub and some razor blades
(SEE: Monotone Matt).
Oh and I saw Wolf Creek last night and it bored me to tears. In fact I'm bored just thinking about it now! But this isnt the time or the place for one of my perfectly executed rants.
I havent seen a movie at the cinemas that I have thoroughly enjoyed in years.
Really.
Years.
That's probably why I'll never go on my own accord now. Serenity was fantastic, but I spose that doesnt count cause I knew I was going to love it (despite the body count).
Well the time draws near for me to go home and do all those 'after work' things. I'm really looking forward to taking my shoes off.
the end.

I just saw Flightplan, it was pretty cool - and can't wait for King Kong and Harry Potter, not to mention Narnia - looks awesome. :)

Narnia looks fantastic, except too many crappy looking CGI animals.

Flightplan was apalling. Felt like some sort of Arena movie of the week.

Poor Jodie foster. I wish she'd play something other than the frantic mother!!

all of which I plan to watch at one time or another.

I just can't get myself to watch porter. The fans of porter have been giving me a lot of heartache on that matter.

is it my fault that I dilike porter the MOST in this book? I mean, he is so bloody full of himself.

arghh ... it gives me migrane just thinking about it.

Slim - i don't think Monotone Matt is anywhere near the bathtub and razor state - that implies some degree of emotional response from him.
He just drives others to considering them as the only viable alternative

Flightplan was not good. Where did Jodie Foster go wrong ? There must be a good film out there for her somewhere.
Certainly looking forward to the new Harry potter (getting good crits) and Narnia (even though I've never read the books) and OMG YES King Kong !!!
Sort of interested in the Brothers Grimm - not good crits, but has somehow whetted my interest - maybe its the castrating witch ?
